Digital Leadership Student Club of Ilia State University was founded by students of the Computer Science department of Iliauni on October 29, 2021.
The main projects of the club are for students of the School of Technology, however, as far as possible, they include various areas of all faculties of Iliauni.
Main fields of the club’s work:
Public Lectures
- The lectures will be aimed at students interested in technology and digital leadership.
Meetings with Professionals
- Communication with people who have already achieved success in this field gives young people the motivation to evolve.
Discussions
- Young people involved in technology also need to develop various leadership skills, so we believe that holding discussions about digital leadership is very important.
Trainings
- Give students an opportunity to receive information on issues of interest to them directly from experts in the field, not only in technology, but also in leadership.
Projects
- Participation in various small projects, such as hackathons, startups, etc.
Objectives of the club:
- Conducting various extracurricular activities related to digital leadership, i.e. virtual leadership (e-leadership) with the help of programming for the students of Ilia State University. Events will be held for both Georgian and foreign students;
- Students will be able to discuss various topical issues, hold discussions, participate in events within the scope of the club’s activities (it is preferable for club members to know English language at the B2 level, as the activities will be held in English);
- Club members themselves will be able to offer interesting activities and invite guests based on the e-leadership theme;
- Students interested in programming and leadership (e-leadership) will deepen their teamwork and cooperation skills.
